Our menus are carefully planned to meet the Welsh nutritional guidelines for school lunches by our catering managers and food advisers from the National Health Promotion Service team. It is our aim to ensure that all pupils can be provided with a healthy, nutritious meal and that vegetarians and those on special diets are also catered for.

Many parents , pupils and teachers have asked us to provide the nutritional content of the meals served and we are pleased to announce the introduction of this new feature in our menu section. If you roll your mouse over the menu items below you will see we have provided nutritional information about the food served. To help everyone understand the importance and relevance of this information we have provided guidance notes in a downloadable PDF file. You can download the file here.

Each day there is a choice of meal, with a vegetarian option, and a selection of vegetables, fruit, milk and water.

Each month there will be a theme menu promoting fruit and vegetables and will feature on the menu as a tasty new dish. Pupils will be encouraged to eat the nourishing vegetables or fruit and learn more about them.

Meals cost £1.80 per day for a two-course meal and a drink.  Meals can be paid for by cheque or cash and is generally collected on a Monday.

A wholemeal bread selection is available daily.  The alternative to the published dessert option is a fruit selection.  A milk drink and water are to be offered daily.
