Hi, Owain the Owl here! As your school meals mascot I want to tell you all about how great school meals are! I love eating school lunches, as there is always lots of tasty food to eat. School meals mean fun too just watch out for theme days with different menus, competitions and prizes.

Here are my top ten reasons why I like school lunches:

• School meals help me eat my five fruit and vegetables a day.
• They taste really good.
• You have lots of energy to play and study afterwards
• They help keep you fit and healthy.
• You can try new things you have not tasted before and see how much you like them.
• You can join in with fun promotional days, enter competitions and win fab prizes.
• They keep you warm in Winter
• You can sit with your friends and have fun eating together.
• The lunchtime staff are friendly and look after you.
• Gavin Henson liked school dinners!
