'My School Lunch' is an exciting new website launched this term. This informative and fun-filled website aims to provide information on school meals and educate parents, pupils and teachers on the importance of healthy eating.

Pupils across the borough are able to have fun learning about the importance of a balanced diet, contact Owain the school meals mascot, experience the use of E-mail on a safe site, enter competitions with the chance of winning some great prizes and enter an interactive funfair of educational games linked to the Welsh National Curriculum.

There is a section for parents to remind and inform them that school lunches are a healthy and nutritious choice for primary school children.  To encourage a dialogue between the service managers and customers, there is an online feedback form. This section also features school meal facts and information, a Frequently Asked Question page and a 'latest news' page which will regularly update customers on the latest developments, competitions and other planned events.

Teachers will have access to a password protected section where they will have access to Welsh curriculum based class plans, worksheets and information for all age groups on healthy eating.

The website will help link the kitchen and the classroom and with the addition of our teachers pages, provide helpful information to adults, teachers and pupils".
