May
Pupils at St James school will be enjoying some "May Madness" on Tuesday 15th May with a menu consisting of Hot Dog Sausage in a Roll accompanied by curly fries, crunchy coleslaw and baked beans, followed by happy face ice cream.
St Columba's Catholic Primary school are looking forward to a "Summer Sizzler" on Wednesday 23rd May. The pupils will enjoy a meal of succulent Southern Fried Chicken served with curly fries, crunchy coleslaw and summer salad, followed by strawberry mousse with summer fruits. Sounds like a menu to be enjoyed in the sunshine!
June
Lots of schools will be enjoying the Queen's Jubilee celebrations this month with South Walney Junior school offering a "Jubilee Party" lunch on Friday 1st June consisting of:
Kitchen made sausage rolls and cheese lattice fingers, a selection of sandwiches and salads, a fruit platter and decorated fairy cakes to follow, accompanied by a drink of fruit juice.
Also on Friday 1st June Ormsgill Primary are serving a "Queen's Jubilee" menu of :
Roast Turkey, Roast Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding, Pigs in Blankets, Cauliflower, Carrots and Gravy, followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding and Custard.
St James school pupils will be celebrating with a "Street Party Buffet" on Friday 1st June. The pupils there will enjoy:
A selection of sandwiches, pastries and crunchy salads followed by ice cream lollies.

South Walney Junior school is serving a Sports Day Picnic Lunch on Friday 15th June consisting of :
Jumbo sausage in a bun served with potato chips and carrot and cucumber sticks followed by an ice lolly and fruit juice.
