Make your childīs school meals even better

Help make school lunches even better
Yes you can make a real difference by voting for the dishes you would like to see on the next school meals menu cycle. This started in April 2009 and we have used the dishes on the menu that you vote for. We will still have to make sure all the menus are nutritionally balanced to meet the Government standards but we endeavour to include the most popular dishes identified on this website.

How will it work?
Please look at all the dishes in the table below and then click on the name underneath. This will open a new page where you can rate and review that dish. You can also add comments and say whether you are doing this as a parent, a parent and child, a child on their own or a child doing a tasting at school. You can rate and review every dish or as many as you want to. When you have finished you can click on the results button at the top of this page to see the top five choices for: overall; parents; parents and children; child in class; and child in tasting session at school. So start voting now.

More information
You can score each dish out of five and the results will be based on the average star rating. The results may be shown in half a star and the results will be displayed with the highest scoring dishes at the top. If a dish has no votes then it will have a score of zero and not be shown in the results. The ten most popular dishes will be considered for the next menu cycle and other dishes will then be added to ensure we meet the nutritional standards set out by the Government. If you would like to download a copy of our current menu cycle you can download it here.
