Lunch time is a very important part of the school day. It's time when children relax and play. Having a mid-day meal helps children recharge, ready for the afternoon.
It helps them socialise and learn to behave in a dining area.
Two head teachers have posted their comments:
Moira and her team always provide an excellent lunch for our children, they all work very hard to make sure they know the children and their likes and dislikes and always encourage all the children to have a good and healthy lunch.
Moira and her team are also absolutely brilliant at supporting us in school with our excellence and enjoyment agenda and they will do lots of fun theme days, dressing up and making special food to make lunchtimes fun for everyone. Moira is always willing to come to parent events and demonstrate the quality of our school meals. Many of our staff regularly have a school lunch and the standard is always of the highest quality. We really appreciate our lunchtime team and all they do for us!
Best wishes, Bernie Boryslawskyj, Dryclough CE(VC) Infant School

Kirklees Catering Service fully trains all it's staff and encourages them to involve themselves in the wider life of the school. Attending school council meetings, providing regular theme days and is always available to talk to parents.
