We are pleased to announce that the School Food Trust has awarded us with funding to enable us to develop a range of multi-cultural recipes for school meals.

Since receiving the grant, the menu development team has been busy developing and trialing a range of dishes in schools across the city. Pupils have been voting on which dishes they like, and which dishes should be introduced onto the school menu. The recipe development is currently focussing on the following dishes; Somali, Bangladeshi, Asian Indian, Nigerian and Caribbean.

Trials of Somali dishes will be taking place at St Mary's Primary School on the 13 & 14 November.
