Welcome to our new competition. The competition aims to find recipes for typical dishes from Somalia, Bangladesh, India, Nigeria and the Caribbean.

Pupils can submit more than one recipe for each country, and entries can also be received on plain paper to a member of their school catering team, or by email to: schoolmeals@manchester.gov.uk. 

Prizes will be awarded for the best recipe received for each country. There is a total of 5 X £10 HMV vouchers for pupils to win and 5 X £10 Asda vouchers for whoever helps them with the recipe!

The competition closes on 25 November.
