To make sure that you are healthy you should eat a variety of foods in the correct quantities so that you have a balanced diet. The picture on the right shows the sorts of food and how much you should eat of each of them.
The meals you get at school give you a balanced diet at lunchtimes - this means that not only will your tummy be full but you will also have lots of energy to do the things you like.
Having the right kinds of food will also help your bones and teeth as well as the rest of your body be healthy.
