At the LACA (Local Authority Caterers Association) annual conference awards dinner on Thursday 3rd July 2003 it was announced that 'My School Lunch' website had won the LACA Education Catering Marketing Award.

This award recognises the successful development and implementation of a marketing programme or initiative that incorporates an education theme as well as a partnership with schools.

The judges were looking for an initiative which is sustainable in the longer term rather than a short term campaign.

Watch out for further developments on the site in the form of new games and other future projects such as teachers notes and worksheets as well as a 'Caterers' page.
