A dedicated member of the North Yorkshire County Caterers' team has retired after 28 years.
Sylvia began her school catering career at Wavill School as a Midday Supervisor and a year later decided she would like to work as a General Kitchen Assistant at the school.
She then moved nearer home and got a job as General Kitchen Assistant at Richmond Lower where she stayed for a year. It was then that she finally moved to St Francis Xavier in Richmond and worked her way up the ladder to become Cook Supervisor.
Sylvia received a long service certificate, which she is holding in the photograph. Alongside Sylvia is Keith Tillbrook, General Manager and Kathy Kirvell, Area Managaer. She also received Marks & Spencer vouchers.
Everyone at North Yorkshire County Caterers wishes her a long and happy retirement.
