Pupils eat all their fruit for National School Meals Week

Roseberry Primary School in Great Ayton hosted the launch of National School Meals Week in North Yorkshire.  Six pupils from the school helped serve the school lunches and handed out My School Lunch stickers along with Councillor Fletchor and Keith Tillbrook, general manager, North Yorkshire County Caterers.

There was lots of different fruits for children to try, some they would recognise and other more exotic fruits.  The pupils were encouraged to try them and were rewarded with a sticker.  The children really enjoyed the experience and one pupil even said it was the best lunch time he had ever had.

National School Meals Week was held week commencing Monday 15th October.
