National School Meals Week Winners

Congratulations to three of our winners from the National School Meals Week Competition held in October.  All the winners won a £20 gift card and a visit from the Quantum Theatre Group for their school.  The theatre group will perform 'Captain Cholesterol & the Grannies from Mars'.

The photos show the winners being presented with their prizes.

George Renwick from Austwick School was presented with his prize by Colin Renwick, Governor, and the school's head teacher Mrs Lesley Crutchley.

Lucy Walker from Amotherby School was also a winner.  Cllr Michael Naggs, Chairman of the County Council presented the prize.  The school's head teacher Mr Bob Audsley and school pupils are also in the photo celebrating Lucy's win. 

Sophie Lowe from Monk Fryston School was presented with her prize by Bill Holmes, Chair of Governors along with school cook Joe Lawton, assistant Tracy Rowe  and head teacher, Mrs Carole Middleton.

Overall there were four winners from across the county with one presentation to take place in the next few weeks.
