Catering staff brush up their skills
Cooks and trainers at Barrowcliff School
 

A number of staff from North Yorkshire County Caterers are completing an NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery.  The course covers 14 different modules including bread making, knife skills, pasta, meat and health and safety.

All the students are from schools in the Scarborough area and they attend Barrowcliff School for training.  They are then assessed in their own kitchens by Jenny Holmes who is the course tutor.
