Greenfield Community School is a centre for excellence
Date: 29/2/2008

It is great news for Nottingham City with Greenfield Community School being selected as a centre for excellence in the Food for Life scheme led by the Soil Association. This scheme is creating a network of schools and communities across England. The aim is to improve school meals still further by reconnecting with young people and showing them where their food comes from and encouraging parents and children to grow and cook food. Schools are trying to gain bronze, silver or gold standards. To find out more about the standard go to www.foodforlife.org.uk.
