Theme days are taking place at most schools during the summer term. This includes A Taste of India at Middleton Primary School where vegetable samosas, Basmati Chaaval and spiced apple cake will be served.
At Jesse Boot Primary School they had loads to shout about on the 6th March as they had an "Around the World in Just One Day". The dishes represented different countries with Roast Beef from England, Tortilla wraps from Mexico, sweet and sour Pork from China, Citrus Muffins from Portugal and Jamaican Ginger Cake. It was a great success and the meal was enjoyed by all.
