Eileen Asprey the cook supervisor from St Lukes RC, represented Citywide Services in LACA's 'Cook of The Year' . The competition was held at Huyton College.

Eileen had to produce a two course  nutritionally balanced meal for 90p which had to appeal to primary aged children. Eileen was one of 12 cooks representing other Authorities from across the North West. 

The standard was very high  and the winner was Tameside County Council, who will go through to the National final in May.
