Hi, Archie the Bear here!  I’m your school meals mascot.  I want to tell you all about how great school meals are and how they can be great fun!  There are always theme days being held and competitions to take part in, with great fun prizes too!  I love eating school lunches, there is always lots of healthy food to choose from, so become a member of my ‘Archie the Bear Lunch Club’ and start enjoying school lunches today!

Why do we need food?

• To give us energy to help us play and do sport
• To make us grow strong
• To help our bones grow
• To keep us healthy

Archie the Bear say’s it's cool to have school lunches because:

• you can choose what you want each day
• you can try new foods you haven’t tried before
• the food is good for you
• when you eat your lunch you can spend time with your friends
• you can join in with fun promotion days
