Hi Kids,
Stockport schoolboy Sonny McNeil won first prize in a ‘Design a recipe’ competition with his own recipe for Sweet Tommy Sauce.
The competition organised by Solutions SK, a Stockport Council-owned
company and sponsored by Nestle Professional who also sponsored the
prizes, drew entries from primary schools across the borough.
Sonny who attends Woodley Primary School, won a family ticket to Alton
Towers, a Silver Spoon cook book for children and an apron. Nathan
Louth, from Torkington Primary School, won second prize with his Chicken
and Broccoli Bake; Thomas McDonald, from North Reddish Junior School,
won third prize with Sweet Chilli Chicken; and Thomas Gregory, from
Ladybrook Primary School, won fourth prize with his Roadrunner’s Chilli.
They each won a Silver Spoon cook book and an apron.
All four recipes are being featured in the Solutions SK Autumn/Winter school menu.
