Menus

We have embraced the Government's legislation and created a new 3 week, nutritionally based menu which can be viewed below. If you roll your mouse over the menu items below you will see we have provided nutritional information about the food served.

To help everyone understand the importance and relevance of this information we have provided guidance notes in a downloadable PDF file. You can download the file here.

We have made major developments in providing high quality menus that not only give a balance of nutrients, but include foods that children will actually eat and enjoy. All menus now contain more fruit, salad & vegetables than ever before.

We offer a wide range of informed food choices to satisfy our diverse customer base. A traditional 2 course hot meal, hot and cold filled jacket potatoes, a wide section of salad from the salad bar and in some schools a selection of sandwiches served on a variety of breads including wraps. This is accompanied by a dessert or fresh seasonal fruit from our infamous fruit platters and a drink. We are confident that school meals in Stockport continue to improve as the importance of healthier eating and exercise becomes embedded in our community which will result in improved take up.  For a much more detailed explanation of the new menu and how the Government standards affect the meals we provide you can download a copy of our new brochure, School meals in Stockport just keep getting better.

You can view and print a copy of the 3 week menu here. It is our aim to source products as locally as possible in order to reduce food miles and protect the environment.  For an explanation of these downloand What's New on the Menu.
