Each day there is a choice of two main courses or a jacket potato with a  choice of fillings; all served with vegetables and a carbohydrate. There is a daily choice of healthy desserts including fresh fruit platter, yoghurts, or the pudding of the day.

A selection of fresh breads is always available.

Milk,  fruit juice and water is always available.

 How do I pay for a school meal?
Please send the money or cheque for five days or cheque for the month/term with your child on Monday. The class teacher will collect it first thing in the morning.

 What happens if I forget to send the money?
Your child will still be able to have a meal but can you ensure the money arrives the following day?

 How often do the menus change?

The primary school menus change twice per year after consultation with pupils. Our current menus meet the required government's nutritional standards. The two menus will reflect seasonal variations. The popularity of menu items is recognised by the choices of take-up.

 What happens if my child is ill and is not at school one day?
You will receive a credit for any meals not taken and the following week you would pay for four meals and not five.

 How do you encourage children to adopt a healthy lifestyle?
We work very closely with schools to help them achieve Healthy School Status.  If you look through the pages of the My School Lunch website you will see what we do.  This includes encouraging children to take exercise.

 How do I find out about free school meals in Stockport?

Children from families in receipt of Income Support, Income-Based Job Seeker's Allowance and Child Tax Credit (but not Working Tax Credit) and whose annual income (as assessed by the Inland Revenue) does not exceed £16,190 are eligible for free school meals.
