Every day in Surrey schools we offer to our pupils for lunch:
- A two course traditional meal
- A vegetarian and ethnic choice
- Special dietary requirements
- A choice of desserts
- Supplementary Bread and Crudites
We have recently introduced a four week menu cycle which offers greater variety for our customers. We continue to keep Friday's fun, by offering the childrens favourites on these days.
The Food We Use
We only use recognised companies to supply our food. Manufacturers and suppliers have to meet stringent standards of safety and hygiene before being considered suitable as contractors.
We have introduced free range eggs on to our menus and we use products endorsed by the Red Tractor Logo and are keen supporters of the Marine Stewardship Council. Our fish is from a recognised sustainable source. We use British chicken on our menus, which is also endorsed with the red tractor logo. In addition, our menu contains none of the artificial food colourings that have been linked with hyperactivity in children.

Nutritional Analysis of Autumn Winter 2011-12 Menu Cycle
- We take care to limit the amount of salt we use in our menus
- Whenever possible we ovenbake foods to reduce the fat content in our dishes
- Where possible we use low fat and low sugar recipes
- We do not knowingly use products containing Genetically Modified Foods
- We do not use meat products that contain mechanically recovered meat
The current price for a school meal is £2.00.

Primary Schools
This weeks dishes are featured below and these may be served on different days in different schools. On occasions caterers are required to change the planned menus to fit in with the needs of the school.
You can now download the Autumn Winter 2011-12 Menu, which will begin in Surrey Schools on 31st October and run until Friday 30th March 2012.
