The Secondary Schools now have their very own website, where young people can send in amusing videos, contribute to message boards, vote on topical issues, send in their blogs and see what’s ‘in or out’. Students will also be able to read Andy Turner’s latest blog and down load his podcast, which is full of fun and intriguing questions. The site also includes health information, school lunch menus, and exercise and lifestyle advice and has been approved by the Eating Disorders Association, Diabetes UK and Allergy UK. A dedicated study section has been added to the website to help students understand how our bodies work when doing various sports.
www.yougo4it.co.uk has been created to improve the health of today’s teenagers and promote the school meal service to Secondary School students. The website is a joint project between Surrey and five other local authorities and is supported by the British Olympic Association.
Why not have a look and see for yourself!
