Liz Careswell joined Hurst Park Primary School at West Molesey 5 years ago. Serving nutritious meals that are interesting and appealing has always been a priority for Liz. She is able to draw on 30 years experience in school catering and Liz and her team ensure that the pupils tuck into delicious dishes on a daily basis. 

Inspired by a presentation at a recent Caterers conference, Liz took up the challenge of developing some new dishes using Quorn. Quorn has been on the Surrey menu for some years now, initially to increase the variety in vegetarian dishes, however as Liz will testify, the dishes are now enjoyed by the entire school. 

Liz has recently been visited by the development team from Marlow Foods to try out her Quorn recipes. They were so pleased with the results they followed their visit up with a photo shoot and her recipes for Savoury Quorn Mince and Quorn Sausage Omelette have now been published along with a selection of other recipes.
