Surrey Commercial Services are pleased to announce that two of our schools have be recognised as flagship schools for the Food for Life Partnership.
The Food for Life Partnership is a network of schools and communities across England that are commited to changing food culture. The aim is to revolutionise school meals, reconnect young people with where their food comes from and inspire more families to grow their own food.
The partnership were looking for schools and caterers with the commitment and enthusiasm to improve food culture in the school and in the wider community. St James' Primary School in Elstead, and West Byfleet Junior School met these criteria and were annonced as flagship schools in the 5 year partnership in February.
We'll have more news from the schools as the scheme progresses.
