The Mayor, Cllr Miles Hosken, celebrated the achievements of the Borough's Catering and Cleaning staff at The Place, Oakengates recently.

Over 200 people achieved a range of qualifications including awards for healthy eating, food hygiene and first aid.  This was followed by a cookery demonstration in which Miles, more famous for his fashion sense, picked up a pan for the first time in 30 years and created the perfect omelette!
