The school council from Thomas Buxton Infants met up with the School Cook (Gloria) to be taught the art form of making meatballs.
The school council including the Headteacher sat around a table and waited for instructions from Gloria who then distributed the meatballs ingredients to each child. They all sat happily rolling their minced meat into perfect ball shapes ready for the oven.
As the children went back to class Gloria put their creations in the oven ready to be served to them during their lunch break
Gloria said "The children got their hands stuck in and were enjoying themselves and when it came to serving to them during their lunch break, the children were really proud. This cooking lesson has given them some knowledge about the preparation involved and the ingredients used".
