We would like to say Eid Mubarek to everyone especially to the residents in Tower Hamlets.

To celebrate the Eid events some schools have opted to particiapte in an Eid celebrational lunch on Thursday 24th / Friday 25th September 2009.

Eid al-Fitr - the festival that marks the end of Ramadan - traditionally begins with the sighting of the new moon.  The Eid-al-Fitr is a very joyous day; it is a true Thanksgiving Day for the believing men and women. On this day Muslims show their real joy for the health, strength and the opportunities of life, which Allah has given to them to fulfill their obligation of fasting and other good deeds during the blessed month of Ramadan.
